Praised for “the quality of her sound” and her “musical and interpretative ability” (El Primer Palau, 2020), Spanish Cristina Cordero is establishing herself as a versatile violist, sought-after internationally as both soloist and chamber musician.

Cristina is a top prizewinner of several international competitions, including the First Prize at El Primer Palau Competition, First Prize at the International Chamber Music Competition Gerhard Vogt and the First Prize at the 6th Viola Competition in Vigo. She gives frequent solo appearances in some of Spain’s most prestigious venues, among them Teatro Real, L’Auditori, Palau de la Música Catalana and Auditorio Nacional.

Passionate about chamber music, Cristina performs regularly across Europe in different formations and has been a guest artist at numerous prestigious festivals, including Verbier, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Schloss Elmau and Krzyzowa-Music. Read full biography: EN / ES
